* J2N Fitness is a Canadian-based company, and this position is paid in CAD. We are primarily seeking Canadian-based coaches, but we welcome applications from those outside of Canada who are comfortable with the exchange rate.

The Position:

We’re looking for a heart-centered coach who is driven, resourceful, and eager to growsomeone who thrives in a team environment but also takes initiative and ownership of their work. 

This is a part-time position to start, with the potential to grow into a full-time role as J2N continues to expand. We’re looking for someone who sees coaching as a long-term career, not just a side gig, and who embraces the flexibility of online coaching as an opportunity to make a real impact.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced in strength, mobility, and injury recovery coaching—helping clients build resilience and move pain-free.
  • Interested in more than just traditional training—open to collaborating on playful movement and mobility work.
  • Aligned with J2N’s sustainable approach—we don’t do quick fixes. We focus on deep health, long-term success, and sustainable coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach assigned 1:1 clients via our online platform.
  • Create customized training programs tailored to client injuries, equipment, schedule, and goals.
  • Provide ongoing client support through 1:1 messaging, group communication, and coaching calls.
  • Collaborate with the coaching team to refine programming, troubleshoot client challenges, and ensure alignment with J2N’s coaching philosophy.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and contribute to a strong coaching culture.
  • Meet coaching KPIs that reflect high-quality client care, retention, and engagement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years experience coaching strength, mobility, and injury recovery clients (online and/or in person); or relevant industry experience (i.e. physiotherapy)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust and connection with clients.
  • Self-motivated and organized—capable of managing client programming, check-ins, and communication independently.
  • Willingness to collaborate, learn, and contribute to a team in a fast-growing small business.
  • Ability to program with various training environments—from clients with home setups and minimal equipment, to fully equipped gyms.
  • Comfortable with tech and remote coaching tools (or quick to learn).

 

Preferred (but not required):

  • Background in kinesiology, physiotherapy, rehab coaching, or a related field.
  • Precision Nutrition Level 1+ or similar nutrition certification.
